Wind electricity generation is one of the leading edges in Alternative Power Production. There are several windfarms popping up all across Canada, first in Pickering Ontario and then we saw some in Saskatchewan. BC has just placed funding for a large windfarm on the west coast of Vancouver Island as well.
Each turbine as seen above will produce enough electricity to power 3,500 homes. This is a cost effective and renewable no impact abundant source of electricity and we need to take full advantage.
