Here's something to think about - What if you could lower your energy bill just by adding a coat of paint?  Yes, a coat of paint..  There's a company called Hytech that has done just that.  Developed a system that is added to their paint or yours, to increase the insulation value of anything you paint it on. 

The technology is simple really.  The additive consists of microspheres made from ceramic.  we all know that ceramic is a good insulator on it['s own - After all, Nasa uses it to insulate the shuttle on re-entry..  Otherwise it will burn up.  So we all can understand the insulation value of ceramic.  These microbubbles, however, don't stop there. 

When Hytech produces the ceramic spheres, somehow or another they make the sphere hollow and that hollow center contains absolutely nothing.  Right.  Nothing.  It is a complete and utter vacuum.   If you don't understand what that means, then think about a thermos bottle.  When you add these little gems to your paint, you are effectively painting a thermos bottle on your wall and we ALL know how long the Thermos vacuum bottle keeps your hot chocolate and coffee hot.

We gave it to Fred and Wilma on the Stone Age and they gave it a club swinging Yaba daba doo!!  This stuff is the real Mc'Coy.  after some cave painting on the ceilings (that would be interior hull faces) of the Stone Age it stopped raining inside due to condensation.  And the temperature difference it made when fred slipped and painted the porthole with it was about 10 degrees.  Meaning the paint was about 10 degrees warmer than the glass it covered - a mere 1/4 of a millimeter away. 

So Fred and Wilma say that you'd better get this stuff and paint your house, your garage and anything else you'd like to keep the heat away from or enclosed in...  Just think what your energy bill would be if you wrapped your house in a vacuum...
