Welcome, 2008.
Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you're not too out of whack this morning ;-). I wish all the best for 2008 and that your intentions reflect your desires this coming year.
This is a time to sit back and think about the year past, what we have learned from our experiences and how we can apply this to our daily lives. It is only by the application of new knowledge that we can grow. The year past has brought many an idea across our desks and provoked a lot of thought. What are we even using petroleum based fuel? Why haven't most people heard of these kinds of energy ideas? There is always the conspiracy line - money motivates - and what business says the real reasons are for acting the way they do. Again, money motivates.
In the entire scope of it all, by us not demanding better mileage and cleaner emissions we don't get them. It's not because it can't happen, it's because we haven't MADE it happen. Well, we don't know where to get it when it is available. We are going to help you find access to as much of this Technology as we can get our hands on, test it, and place our findings here. This is where the Stone Age Test comes to life.
As a matter of fact, there is a long term test going on as I type this. The kind folks at Alpha Grip were kind in sending us one of their new keyboards:

As you can see, it is unusual. I am typing this and other blogs using the Alpha Grip to get used to it. I am your classic 2 finger Tony and I am picking it up fairly quickly. Look back often for updates on our progress.... I may never use a conventional keyboard again. This thing is cool. Check out the video of Mike Willner (Alpha Grip Creator) typing 70+ WPM. Pretty impressive on it's own, but he's RUNNING at the same time. Find the site here:
Alpha Grip.
We also have a hydrogen generator From Save Fuel that we will be doing extensive tests on to prove it's viability. Look for a regular update on this in video and picture format. It is supposed to give us at least 25% reduction in the fuel we use in our cars. We are going to do some different things with it. We will test it on our Generator (5hp 3 KW), then one of our diesels. Then both. Aw gee. we'll have to go motor around the bay for an afternoon or two... Then we will be testing it in our car - 1995 Chevy Corsica with a 3.8' engine.
Later on we will test the GEET technology where you can make an internal combustion engine run on just about anything. I've seen the video's on Youtube and I need to prove it to myself... If we can get an engine to run, we'll be letting you know.. If we can't we'll be letting you know.
I'd like to ask you to send in ideas and suggestions for products to test. Simple everyday items and technologies you think are cool. Ones that can make our energy usage a little easier to take, both in production and in usage. We want to test it. Thoroughly and then give you the results. That's why we hired Fred and Wilma (pictures to come) to test our stuff....
'Till next time.. Please keep energy wise and technologically savvy. and always remember: If we can conceive and believe, we CAN achieve.
